Nithya Kochuparampil is a certified (200hrs YTT) practioner from Samyak Yoga, Mysore. She began her practice in 2015, got certified in 2021 and has since spent time deepening her experience of yoga's effects on the body and mind. She uses her yoga practice as a daily tool in stabilizing stress hormones, fixing interrupted sleeping pattern

In this 60-minute class, we will use yoga-inspired movement to release the day and ease ourselves into that gentle, good, night. Recommended for people with high cortisol levels; tension in neck, shoulders, back; interrupted sleep patterns/difficulty falling asleep.
At Move to Rest, we see a late night movement practice as an antidote to our fast-paced modern lifestyles. We live in disregulated, overstimulated urban environments which are often out of sync with our natural rhythms, affecting cycles of sleep, wake, appetite, and other biological processes.

We target one piece of this: The impact of good sleep on the quality of life. We use a movement practice to switch out of nervous system overdrive into the parasympathetic response needed for rest and digest at the end of a day. Our proposition is less external stimulation, more connection.
